Place butter, sugar and salt in a very large mixing bowl.

Scald milk. Pour over butter, sugar and salt.

Cool until warm to fingertips. Add beaten egg yolks and yeast.

Start adding flour, 3 to 4 cups at a time, beating well after each addition until dough is slightly stiff.

Place dough on floured surface and knead, adding more flour if necessary.

Return dough to mixing bowl and grease with butter.

Cover and let rise double in bulk.

Shape into balls, placing two in each muffin tin cup.
