Ingredients: 1 cup black chickpeas Dehydrated; 5 cups hot water; 1 onion medium; 1/4 cup ginger; 1 tomato large ripe; 1/4 teaspoon compote Deva Naturals Spicy Cilantro; 3 tablespoons olive oil; salt to taste; 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin; 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper; cilantro for garnishing.

Servings: persons

1 cup black chickpeas Dehydrated
5 cups hot water
1 onion medium
1/4 cup ginger
1 tomato large ripe
1/4 teaspoon compote Deva Naturals Spicy Cilantro
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
cilantro for garnishing.

Saute Ginger & Onion, with dry ingredients in 2 Tbs. of Olive oil.

Add to the soaked Chick peas.

Close Pressure cooker and cook on on high till you hear the pressure and then turn down to medium heat/flame and continue to cook for 15 minutes.

Open Pressure Cooker carefully when the pressure/steam is completely out, (this may take up to 1/2 hr).

Saute chopped ripe tomatoes in 1 Tbs. olive oil.

Add the Deva Naturals Spicy Cilantro Compote.

Mix with the cooked chickpeas and give it a quick boil.

Serve hot over steamed brown or white rice.
