   Combine 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour and 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar.

   Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture is crumbly.

   Press evenly in a 13x9-inch baking pan.

   Bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.

   Melt 4 squares baking chocolate over hot water; cool.

    Combine 2 lightly beaten eggs, 1/2 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar; blend in 2 tbsp.

    all-purpose flour and melted chocolate.

    Pour over baked crust.

    Sprinkle 1 cup chopped nuts over surface.
