Mix pudding as directed on box.

Heath bars can be crushed in package then removed from package and placed in a bowl.

Layer as follows in large compote or large pan (the compote lets you see the layers):

Crumble 1/2 of brownies on bottom of container.

Pour 1/2 of pudding mixture over brownies.

Sprinkle with Heath bars and pecans.

Next use 1/2 large container of Cool Whip.

Continue to layer the remaining 1/2 crumbled brownies, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 Cool Whip, 1/2 Heath bars and 1/2 pecans.

Decorate top with whole pecans and some chocolate stars by Brach.

Can also grate stars for a light dusting of chocolate.
