Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk to the creamed mixture, stirring well after each addition.

In a food processor or grinder, finely grind the raisins, nuts and orange (peel and all). Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture for Orange Frosting.

Add the remaining ground orange mix to cake batter.

Spread batter in prepared pan.
