Ingredients: 1/4 c. fat; 1 medium (chopped thin) onion; 1/2 green pepper, chopped; 1/2 lb. ground beef; 1 c. raw rice; 2 cans tomato sauce (small); 1 3/4 c. hot water; 1 tsp. mustard (if you like); 1 tsp. salt; dash of pepper

Melt fat in skillet.

Add onion, pepper, beef and rice.

Stir over high heat until lightly brown.

Add tomato sauce.

Stir.

Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring quickly to a boil. Reduce heat and cover lightly.

Simmer 25 minutes.

For precooked rice, simmer 10 minutes.
