Daddy's Favorite Chocolate and Raisin Bread Pudding

   Put milk and chocolate in saucepan over medium heat; stir until chocolate is melted and milk is scalded.

   Pour milk into large bowl with bread, butter, salt and sugar; temper eggs and gradually add them to pudding mixture; stir in vanilla and raisins; pour into greased baking dish.

   Bake in a water bath at 350 until firm, about 50 minutes.
