1
Let the butter come to room temperature and mix with a whisk until light.
-
2
Add the granulated sugar and mix.
-
3
Mix until light-colored and fluffy.
-
4
Add the egg yolk and mix again.
-
5
Add the heavy cream and vanilla oil and mix.
-
6
Sift the cake flour 2-3 times, add it and fold it in with a rubber spatula until the flour is incorporated.
-
7
The dough is ready.
-
8
Put the dough in a piping bag, and pipe into round cookies.
-
9
I put a sheet with circles printed on it underneath so all the cookies would be the same size.
-
10
Just remember to remove the sheet before baking.
-
11
Try using a star tip to pipe out 3 connected lines like in the picture to make a pretty cookie.
-
12
Add some jam to a plastic bag and cut off the tip.
-
13
Squeeze the jam onto the center of the cookies.
-
14
It's best to squeeze lightly.
-
15
Topping the cookies with some citrus peel looks nice, too.
-
16
Bake for 13-15 minutes in an oven preheated to 170 degrees C (338 Fahrenheit).
-
17
Transfer to a cooling rack.
-
18
After they cool off, they're done!
