Ingredients: 2 chickens; 2 medium onions; 1/2 c. vegetable oil; salt; garlic powder; mild or spicy curry; 1/2 stick butter; 1 green pepper; pepper; 6 large potatoes

Clean the chicken.

Cut the chicken in quarters.

In a skillet melt the butter and vegetable oil.

Sprinkle garlic powder into butter and vegetable oil.

Season the chicken with the curry powder, pepper and salt.

Place chicken into skillet.

Brown all chicken pieces on both sides for about 10 minutes.

When chicken is brown, remove from pan.

Add onions and green pepper in skillet. Add chicken and cut quartered potatoes.

Sprinkle with more curry; let simmer covered.

Add 1 cup of water at 1/2 hour.
