Crunchy Brownie Bars

   Combine flour, soda and salt; stir in oats and brown sugar. Add margarine and pat mixture in bottom of ungreased 11 x 7-inch baking pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 10 minutes.

   While bottom is baking, prepare brownie mix.

   Spread batter over crunchy layer.

   Return to oven and bake until brownies are done, approximately 40 minutes. Frost when brownies are cool.
