6 sliced carrots
1 12 lbs ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup cracker crumb
⅓ cup ketchup
1 small onion, finely diced
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dried marjoram
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Place carrots and potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker Combine remaining ingredients.

Mix well and shape into a loaf.

Place the loaf on top of the vegetables, it should not touch the sides.

Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours Can make loaf ahead and freeze, will cook just as well if put into cooker frozen, just cook 10 to 12 hours.
