1 whole Onion, Chopped
5 cloves Garlic, Chopped
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoons Turmeric
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Parsley
2 cups Basmati Rice
1 bunch Asparagus
1 cup Heavy Cream
4 pieces Vegetarian Sausages, Sliced
1- 1/2 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a large pan.

Add the onion and garlic, both chopped, the seasonings (salt, pepper, turmeric, oregano, parsley), the rice (rinsed in water 3 times) and asparagus (which has been cut in small pieces).

Let it boil for around 10 12 minutes stirring frequently.

At this point, add the heavy cream and sausages (sliced) and remove from heat, allowing 2 more minutes to mix the flavors and heat through.

Pour some olive oil over the top and serve warm with a side salad.
