Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.

Stir in oats, flour, eggs, soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, chocolate chips and pecans.

Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
