Port wine; 1 tsp. browning and seasoning sauce; 2 Tbsp. cornstarch; 1/2 c. sour cream; black pepper

1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. water
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. butter
1 (10 oz.) can chicken broth
1 1/4 c. water
1/2 c. Port wine
1 tsp. browning and seasoning sauce
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sour cream
black pepper

Clean hens and remove giblets.

Slice apples and place in cavities of hens. Secure with toothpicks and rub hens with garlic.

Melt 1/2 cup butter in skillet and brown hens on all sides.

Pour over hens and bake at 350u00b0 for 1 hour, basting frequently.
