Clean Your Gas Cook Top Burner Grates

   Place grates (and burner caps if you want) in a plastic bag.

   Pour in ammonia. (the parts will NOT be submerged - the fumes do the cleaning).

   Tie up the bag & wait 30 minutes.

   Remove grates & rinse away the ammonia & cooked on food. ( Some of the really caked on residue may require minimal scrubbing but most will dissolve from the ammonia fumes.)

   ** I did this outside but it would work just as well with the bag in your sink. Tip - turn the bag top away from you when opening as the fumes will plume out.
