In a glass baking dish, rub both sides of steaks with garlic. Rub both sides of steaks with cayenne & paprika and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Squeeze lemon juice over steaks, and then drizzle olive oil over the top. Cover & refrigerate for an hour (up to 4 hours), turning steaks every _ hour. Set steaks out to raise to room temperature before placing on prepared grill. Before adding steaks on the grill, prep the sauce ingredients (recipe below). Remove steaks from marinade and grill to desired degree of doneness. Remove from grill & let rest for 5 minutes.

Over medium heat cook mushrooms in 3Tbsp butter until the mushrooms are reduced by half. Sprinkle cognac over mushrooms and saute until golden brown.

In a separate small pot, over low heat, melt and additional 1 Tbsp of butter and cook onions and garlic until onion has softened & garlic is slightly golden (about 2 minutes).

Add remaining butter and melt. Add dash of soy sauce and wasabi powder and stir to combine. Add cilantro and continue stirring for one minute. Add mushrooms to sauce and stir to coat. Pour sauce over steak and serve.
