Christmas Party Cake

   Cream butter and sugar well. Add the slightly beaten eggs and add a little flour into which the chopped nuts have been put. Stir mixture well; add the orange juice and rind.

   Add a little more flour and stir again. Add the soda to the buttermilk; stir this into the batter, adding the remainder of the flour as quickly as possible. Bake into 2 greased and floured 9-inch pans at 350u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
