Christmas Filled Cookies

   Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs.

   Beat well.

   Put 3 cups oatmeal through grinder.

   Combine this with other 3 cups.

   Sift flour, soda and salt together; add this to the creamed mixture. Add all oatmeal and hot water to this.

   Mix well.

   Chill dough 30 minutes.
