1-3/4 qt. brown sugar, packed
3 Tbsp. vanilla, divided
12 each eggs
2 qt. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 qt. boiling water
1 cup butter, softened
3 qt. powdered sugar
2-2/3 cups milk
