1-3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered cocoa
1/4 cup malted milk powder
1-1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/3 cup water
1/2 pint whipping cream
6 tbsp. powdered sugar
6 tbsp. malted milk powder

Place butter and sugar in bowl.

Using electric mixer, mix butter and sugar together until mixture is light and creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat l minute at medium speed.

Combine flour, cocoa, malted milk powder, baking soda and salt; add alternately with water to butter-egg mixture.

Pour batter into two buttered and floured 8-inch cake pans.

Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until test done.

Cook and frost.
