Add chocolate chips to double boiler or bowl over hot water and melt. Add 2 cups whole milk to pan. Add vanilla extract, gelatin and sugar. Simmer gently. Wisk together to blend. Add 4 whole eggs to bowl.

Remove milk from heat. Slowly add milk to bowl with eggs so they don't scramble from the heat. Wisk together in large bowl. Add melted chocolate and wish all together. Pour mixture into buttered baking dish. Top with sliced almonds. Place baking dish inside a larger pan of water and place in 350 degree oven and bake for 1 hour. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes.

Add cream to bowl and whip until thick. Add 1 tablespoon powdered sugar and blend. Add Amaretto liquer and blend.

Spoon chocolate pudding onto plate, top with whipped cream and serve.
