Ingredients: 1/2 cup shortening; 1 2/3 cups sugar; 2 teaspoons vanilla; 2 eggs; 1/3 cup milk; 2 cups flour; 2 teaspoons baking powder; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, melted; 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Cream together shortening, sugar, and vanilla.

Add 2 eggs and beat.

Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.

Add melted chocolate.

Stir in walnuts.

Chill 2 or 3 hours.

Form 1 inch balls. Roll in Confectioners sugar.

Place on greased baking sheet.

Bake about 15 minutes(do not overbake).
