3 Tablespoons Butter Or Margarine, Melted
FOR THE FILLING:
19 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cups Cocoa
2 teaspoons Vanilla
3 whole Eggs

Heat oven to 350u00b0F. For the crust, mix crumbs and sugar; mix in melted butter or margarine thoroughly. Press evenly on bottom of ungreased 9x3 springform pan. (A 9-inch glass pie pan will work too if you don't have a springform pan.) Bake 10 minutes; cool.

Reduce oven temperature to 300u00b0F. For the filling, beat cream cheese in a 3-quart bowl. Gradually beat in sugar and cocoa until fluffy; add vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Pour over crumb mixture. Bake until center is firm, about 1 hour. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours but no more than 48 hours.
