Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

   1) Melt the chocolate in either a double boiler or a microwave and let cool to room temperature.

   2) In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the flat beater, beat together the sugar, butter, milk, vanilla and salt on low speed until combined (about 1 min).

   3) Stop the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl.

   4) Increase the speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes, then reduce the speed to low.

   5) Add the melted chocolate and beat until combined, then increase the speed to medium and beat for 1 minutes more.

   6) If the frosting is dry, add more milk, 1 tsp at a time until it is creamy, but still holds peaks.
