Preheat the oven to 325u00b0F. Grease a 15 x 12 inch baking pan and sprinkle with flour. In a bowl, beat the coconut, vanilla extract, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour and 3 eggs. Spoon into a decorating bag fitted with a large, plain tip.

In a saucepan set over a low heat, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring. Transfer to a large bowl, add the remaining eggs and beat with a hand mixer. Add the baking powder, remaining sugar and flour and a pinch of salt and mix to a smooth batter. Spoon into the baking pan and smooth out.
