Chinese 5 Spice; 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler/fryer, cut in half; 1/4 c. sesame seed; 6 c. shredded iceberg lettuce; 3 green onions with tops, thinly sliced; 1/2 c. coriander, chopped; 1/2 c. salted cashews or peanuts, chopped; 2 to 3 c. deep-fried bean threads or rice stick; Lemon Dressing; salt and pepper

Servings: persons

2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. salad oil
1 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. Chinese 5 Spice
2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler/fryer, cut in half
1/4 c. sesame seed
6 c. shredded iceberg lettuce
3 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
1/2 c. coriander, chopped
1/2 c. salted cashews or peanuts, chopped
2 to 3 c. deep-fried bean threads or rice stick
Lemon Dressing

Spread sesame seed in a pan over low heat, shaking until seed turns golden and begins to pop.
