Ingredients: 1/2 pound grnd beef; 1/2 pound pork sausage; 1 c. minced onion; 2 cloves garlic, chopped; 2 (4 ounce.) cans whole green chilies; 2 c. shredded sharp cheese, divided; 4 Large eggs; 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, unsifted; 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk; 1/2 teaspoon salt; Tabasco sauce, to taste

1/2 pound grnd beef
1/2 pound pork sausage
1 c. minced onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (4 ounce.) cans whole green chilies
2 c. shredded sharp cheese, divided
4 Large eggs
1/4 c. all-purpose flour, unsifted
1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
Tabasco sauce, to taste

In large skillet, crumble beef and sausage.

Cook till brown, add in onion and garlic.

Drain off fat.

Line 13 x 9 baking dish with 1/2 the chilies, top with 1 1/2 c. cheese.

Add in meat, then top with the rest of the chilies; set aside.

Beat together Large eggs and flour till smooth.

Add in lowfat milk, salt and Tabasco; blend, pour over casserole.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 min or possibly till knife comes out clean.

Sprinkle 1/2 c. cheese on top.
