Ingredients: 1 can French-style green beans, drained; 1/2 c. mayonnaise; 1 c. water chestnuts, drained and chopped; 1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms; 2 Tbsp. chopped onion; 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice; 1 can cream of celery soup; 1 pkg. slivered almonds; 1 stewed chicken or 3 large breasts, diced; salt and pepper to taste

1 can French-style green beans, drained
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice
1 can cream of celery soup
1 pkg. slivered almonds
1 stewed chicken or 3 large breasts, diced
salt and pepper to taste

Stew chicken, then use broth to cook 1 package rice.

Toast almonds in butter and salt under broiler in oven.

Mix remaining ingredients along with chicken and rice.

Place in 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.

Top with slivered almonds.

(Almonds can be mixed in casserole if desired.) If not moist enough before baking, pour chicken broth over casserole.
