1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening

1 juice can water
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Shake chicken pieces in it. Brown chicken in shortening, then drain.

Pour over chicken. Simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
