Chicken Cream Tortillas Casserole Recipe

   Pass tortillas through warm oil to soften.

   Drain on paper towel.

   Sprinkle with salt and tear into quarters.

   Set aside.

   To make sauce, saute/fry onion in remaining oil.

   Add in half and half.

   Add in chilies, salt, pepper and taco sauce.

   Simmer 5 min.

   In buttered 2-qt casserole, layer tortillas and meat, sauce and cheese.

    Bake uncovered, for approximately 40 to 45 min.
