Pierce the chicken breasts on both sides with a fork to tenderize it and make it easier for the flavors to penetrate it.

Combine the ingredients marked (soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil) and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hours.

Heat the frying oil, dip the chicken in the egg and then coat with katakuriko.

Deep fry the chicken with the skin side up first over relatively low heat.

When it's just about cooked through turn it over and continue frying.

While you fry the chicken, put the marinade in a pan, add some sliced leek and boil down.

Slice the fried chicken into 1.5 to 2 cm wide pieces and put in a serving plate.
