3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
2 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes

Sift together cake flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine shortening and sugar.
