Ingredients: 1 c. sugar; 3 c. flour; 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr; 1/2 teaspoon baking soda; 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional); 1 c. shortening; 1 egg; 1/2 c. lowfat milk; 2 teaspoon vanilla; 1 can cherry pie filling

Combine dry ingredients.

Cut in shortening, as for a pie crust.

Mix egg, lowfat milk, and vanilla together and add in to dry mix.

Pat 2/3 of mix into ungreased 9x13 inch pan.

Pour cherry pie filling over mix and sprinkle the remaining 1/3 over fruit.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.

Blueberry, apple, pineapple pie filling may be used.
