   In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat until light. Add almond extract. Stir in flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth. Butter 9 X 13 pan. Turn batter into pan. Spoon filling into the cake in 16 spots evenly. Bake at 350u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
