   At least 4 hours before serving time,

   1. trim crust from bread and cut into 1-inch squares. Cut Cheese slices into bite-sized pieces

   2. In greased shallow casserole, alternate layers of bread and cheese. Pour melted butter over top.

   3. Beat eggs well, stir in salt, pepper, mustard, and milk. Combine throughly, then pour over ingredients in casserole. cover and refrigerate.

   One hour before serving

   4. Put Casserole covered in 350F oven. Bake for 30 minutes. uncover and cook for 30 minutes more, until top is golden and puffy
