Cardamon Sugar Crusted Grilled Peaches

   Wash and slice the peaches in half. Remove pit. In coffee grinder, grind the cardamon spice until powder. If using whole cardamon remove large pieces of husks. Add sugar to the coffee grinder and pulse until sugar powders. Pour onto a plate.

   Dip the cut side of the peaches into the cardamon sugar. Place peaches, sugar side up in a baking pan. Let sit until the juice of the peach dissolves the sugar. Pour off into pan;

   roll the skin side of the peach in the juices.

   Re dip the peach in the cardamon sugar on all sides.

   Place on hot grill cut side down for 3 minutes. Turn and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

   Serve 2 peach halves for each serving. Add a side of ice cream if desired.
