Caramel Cinnamon Muffins Recipe

   Grease muffin pans and place 1/2 tsp.

   of butter and 1 tsp.

   brown sugar in each c.. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt and cinnamon together.

   Beat egg; add in lowfat milk, shortening and remaining 1/2 c. brown sugar.

   Add in to sifted dry ingredients, stirring only sufficient to dampen all the flour.

   Fill prepared muffin pans 3/4 full and bake in warm oven (425 degrees) for 20 min.
