Heat oil in large saucepan to 325 degrees F. Meanwhile, combine flour, sugar and baking powder in medium bowl.

Whisk egg and 1/4 cup milk in separate bowl until blended.

Add to flour mixture; whisk until blended.

Place wire rack on paper towel-covered baking sheet; set aside.

Cut each banana lengthwise, then crosswise in half.

Dip 4 banana pieces in batter, turning to evenly coat each piece.

Use slotted spoon to carefully add bananas to hot oil; cook 5 to 6 min.

or until golden brown.

Remove from oil; place on wire rack to drain.

Repeat with remaining banana pieces.

Microwave caramels and remaining milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.

or until caramels are almost melted; stir until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Place 2 banana pieces on each of 4 dessert plates.

Drizzle with caramel, then chocolate.
