Candied Sweet Yam Bake

   preheat oven to 350F.peel the yams and cut them into about 2 inch chunks.in a medium sauce pan,bring enough water to a boil and cook the yams until they are tender,about 20 minutes.

   drain the yams and mash them,add in cinnamon,salt,melted butter and sugar,mash them thoroughly.

   transfer the mashed sweet yams to a casserole dish,evenly top with marshmallows,put it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the marshmallows are lightly browned.
