Candied Orange Peels

   Put 3 cups sugar and 4 cups water into a saucepan.

   Bring the sugar water to a gentle boil.

   Place the orange peels into the boiling water; boil until translucent, about 15-20 minutes.

   Once translucent, remove from water and place on wax paper to cool.

   When the orange peels are almost dry, roll them in the remaining cup of sugar.
