Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. chopped onions; 1 1/2 c. chopped celery; 1/4 lb. oleo; 1 c. cooked cabbage; 1 c. cooked rice; 3/4 lb. ground beef; 1 tsp. tomato paste; 1 small can tomato paste; 1 small can tomato sauce; 3 lb. head cabbage; 1/2 c. cooking oil; salt, pepper and cayenne to taste; 4 cloves garlic, chopped

Servings: persons

1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 lb. oleo
1 c. cooked cabbage
1 c. cooked rice
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. tomato paste
1 small can tomato paste
1 small can tomato sauce
3 lb. head cabbage
1/2 c. cooking oil
salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
4 cloves garlic, chopped

Brown ground beef and drain.

Add onions, celery and garlic and cook until wilted.

Remove 12 outer leaves from cabbage; parboil these for 15 minutes.

Drain and set aside; cut up center of cabbage (not the core) to equal 1 cup.

Cook until tender and add to meat mixture with 1 teaspoon tomato paste.

Add rice; mix and stuff cabbage leaves.

Secure with toothpicks.
