Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened; 12 cup sugar; 12 cup firmly packed brown sugar; 2 egg yolks; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 cup all-purpose flour; 1 cup quick-cooking oats; 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, divided; 12 cup flaked coconut; 1 (12 ounce) packagenestle butterscotch chips

Servings: 4 persons

1 cup butter, softened
12 cup sugar
12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup finely chopped walnuts, divided
12 cup flaked coconut
1 (12 ounce) packagenestle butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl, combine butter, sugar and brown sugar; beat until creamy.

Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat well.

Gradually blend in flour.

Stir in oats, 1/2 cup nuts and coconut.

Spread into a lightly greased 15 x 10 inch pan.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Cool.

Melt over hot (not boiling) water (or microwave) butterscotch chips; remove from heat.

Spread evenly over cookie layer.

Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup nuts.

Chill for 10 minutes.
