Broccoli In Cheese Custard

   Preheat oven to 350u00b0.

   Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish, put the chopped broccoli into it, and sprinkle with the cheese.

   Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl and stir in the milk or cream, salt and pepper.

   Stir into the broccoli-cheese mixture.

   Put the baking dish in a shallow pan with hot water halfway up its sides.

   Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the custard is set.
