Bride Salad (Dairy) Recipe

   Boil beets, carrots and potatoes in skins.

   Cold and peel.

   Mix dressing ingredients.

   Coarsely grate vegetables.

   Clean grater between vegetables so colors don't mix.

   Layer the beets on the plate.

   Sprinkle dressing and spread thin layer of mayonnaise over it.

   Layer remaining ingredients in same way and in the following order: Carrots, potatoes, onions, 1/3 of cheese and Large eggs.

   There are 6 layers; sprinkle dressing and spread mayonnaise over each layer.

    Take the remaining mayonnaise and spread it around salad like icing.

    Using a fine grater, grate remaining cheese directly over salad so which it falls like snow and gives a lace effect.

    Cut like cake to serve.

    This is a very attractive dish.

    Garnish with cherries if you like.
