Place bread cubes in Pyrex dish.

Arrange bread cubes in one layer, tightly packed. Pour mixture over bread cubes and allow to stand 10 minutes.

Press until the bread cubes are covered with the mixture.

(If mixture does not cover all of the bread cubes, you may add as much as 1 cup of milk to increase mixture).

Cover Pyrex dish with foil.

Set Pyrex dish in a larger pan.

Fill larger pan with water to 1/2-inch from top.
