CUT the top 1/4 off each roll and scoop out the crumbs leaving a 2cm thick crust.

Reserve the crumbs for another use.

Place the rolls on a baking tray.

Place the lids on another tray, lightly spray with oil and sprinkle with some of the Parmesan cheese.

BRUSH the inside of the rolls with melted butter and then spread the with VEGEMITE.

Place the tomatoes and basil in the rolls.

Break an egg into a jug then pour slowly into the roll, moving the tomato as necessary, to avoid overflowing.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Repeat with remaining ingredients.

BAKE rolls in a moderate 180 degrees C oven for 15-20 minutes or until the egg is cooked.

Bake the lids for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
