Brazil Nut Chips

   Cover shelled nuts with water.

   Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.

   Cut into slices lenghtwise with a very sharp knife.

   Spread in shallow pans.

   Add the butter.

   Salt well.

   and toast at 350F until the chips are brown and toasty.

   Drain on absorbent paper.
