Braised Polish Noodles With Cabbage (Kluski Z Kapusta) Recipe

   Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

   Add in the noodles and boil 10 to 12 min till tender.

   Drain in a colander and rinse with cool water.

   Set aside.

   Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

   Add in the onions, garlic and caraway seeds; saute/fry 2 min till the onions are soft.

   Add in the cabbage and apples; saute/fry 4 min or possibly till tender.

   Add in the cooked noodles to the pan, mix well and season with salt and pepper.

   If you like, serve with a small dollop of lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt.
