   ginger base-depending on the size of the batch you wish to have, use more or less ginger.

   peel ginger dice ginger put ginger, simple syrup to taste and lemon juice to taste(be modest u can add more later) blend on high until thin as possible strain over mesh using tool to quicken the process add simple syrup and lemon to taste

   mix bourbon, ginger, dash of simple, squeezed lemon, and little bit of ice

   shake and strain over ice

   top with soda and garnish with cherry
