Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter a cast iron skillet (or can use a different cake pan).

Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips (I make a double boiler on the stove).

Beat the sugars, salt and butter until well combined.

Beat in the egg, vanilla, 2 mushed bananas, and melted chocolate chips.

Stir in the flower, cocoa powder, whisky, baking soda, 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of raisins.

Pour mixture into prepared pan.

Cut the remaining 3 bananas in half and arrange cut side up onto the prepared batter.

Sprinkle the top with the remaining chocolate chips and the raisins. Sprinkle the cut bananas with the remaining 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Bake for about 45 minutes, check that a toothpick comes out clean.
